Esi & Jan
Co-Founders
Twin sisters and co-founders Esi and Jan run Whispers of Love, providing vulnerable children in Namulanda with free education and daily care. With backgrounds in accounting, they oversee the foundation’s programmes, operations and community initiatives.
Mama Maria
Field Support & Daily Care
Mama Maria supports children and families in the community and is an important part of daily life at the school. She prepares meals, helps with activities and provides daily care and support for the children.
Teacher Stella
Volunteer Educator
Teacher Stella volunteers every Saturday, teaching, entertaining and guiding the children. She brings creativity and patience to the classroom while supporting their learning and encouraging confidence, curiosity and enjoyment through activities and play.
Teacher Linda
Educator
Teacher Linda is the class teacher for the Hippos, our youngest learners. She creates a warm and caring environment where children feel safe to explore, play and discover. Through songs, stories, games and hands-on activities, she helps lay a strong foundation for each child’s educational journey.
Teacher Grace
Educator
Teacher Grace leads English and Social Studies lessons for our Monkeys and Elephants classes. His patience, kindness and enthusiasm help children feel encouraged to participate, ask questions and discover the joy of learning.
Teacher Jessica
Educator
Teacher Jessica guides our Monkeys and Elephants through Mathematics and Science. Through creative and interactive activities, she helps children understand new concepts, build confidence and develop curiosity about the world around them.
Jajja Maria
Daily Care & Community Support
Jajja Maria works closely with the team, helping with meals, activities and the daily care of the children. Her experience and guidance support the school’s daily work and strengthen its connection with the wider community.
Uncle Ronie
Daily Care & All-Round Support
Uncle Ronie helps with the daily running of the school, from preparing classrooms and supporting lessons to cooking, cleaning and repairs. He also builds and repairs furniture, helping keep the school organised, practical and welcoming.
Mama Agnes
Daily Care & All-Round Support
Mama Agnes cares for the children every day and helps keep the school running smoothly. She prepares meals, supports lessons, organises and cleans the classroom, and helps maintain a caring and welcoming environment.
